Quail meat is very high in Protein and Calcium
Due to the cold weather in UK which makes rearing conditions more difficult, our birds are reared in a warmer climate in Portugal and are fed on a natural feed.
These little birds have a lot of flavour for their size and suit both quick or slow cooking. They are oven ready and prepared on the bone.
Quail are fairly lean and good for roasting, grilling and casseroling; they also make good curries.
